Instructions

1.) Add 1.8 L (61 FL. OZ.) of hot water to an empty detergent jug.
2.) Pour entire pouch contents into the jug.
3.) Shake well and let stand for 30 minutes before use.
4.) Add 26 mL (0.88 FL. OZ) for one medium load of laundry.

I really like your product! The only question I have is that the detergent seems really thick, as if it needs more water, even though I fill it with water all the way to the top. I always wonder if I should dilute it more as it gets really thick closer to the bottom of the container.

So watery

I purchased the soap pkgs for the first time and when I mixed 1 with the water amount it said to, I found the mixture too watery. I feel that the clothes can’t be washed properly with it being so watery and find myself adding more soap than I should. So it’s not saving me money if I have to add more than normal soap to wash load.

You're absolutely right that consistency matters. While the final mixture may appear more watery than traditional detergent, it is a concentrated formula, and when fully dissolved, a smooth and uniform liquid is all that’s needed for effective cleaning. You shouldn’t need to use more than recommended.

In your case, the texture you noticed on the bottle lid suggests the powder may not have dissolved completely — this can sometimes happen if the powder is added before the water. We suggest adding water first, then the powder, and shaking well. If the result still doesn’t seem right, we’re more than happy to replace any pouch that didn’t turn out properly.
